The staff were delightful- 100% of the desk personnel, housekeepers, and waitstaff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was exceptionally good with a wide variety of choices and plenty of protein, cereals, sweets, delicious fruits. The room was large, good air flow, extra towels. They immediately brought us extra luggage racks when we asked.

The hotel is conveniently located diagonally from the train station. it was a very comfortable walking distance, even with some challenged people with mild mobility issues. The front desk staff were extremely accommodating and made several suggestions. the real treat was just couple streets away. There was a street food festival.That was just something very different for this group to experience. The hotel is conveniently located in a comfortable walking distance from the main Cathedral.

The hotel is in easy walking distance to/from the train station and the ferry port. Our room was basic but comfortable, with a view over the park opposite and towards the port area and major sites such as the clock tower and Cathedral. Breakfast mainly consisted of sweet foods, with some savoury choices. The staff were attentive and kindly provided a breakfast package on our last day as we had to check-out early. They also provided a kettle for our room at our request. The hotel is close to many cafes and restaurants and the major cultural sites are also in easy walking distance.

The room was large. It was clean. The bathroom was spacious. There was plenty of storage space. The view from my room was excellent. The staff at breakfast were courteous and helpful. I was able to store my bags for a few hours whilst I waited for my train

This hotel was minutes from the train station and about 10 minutes from the ferry terminal to Villa San Giovanni - you appreciate that when hauling too much luggage. We had an initial problem with another guest who was constantly hacking and coughing in an adjoining room, so the hotel upgraded us to a corner room, which was fabulous. It had views over the city to the mountains, and some harbour glimpses. Breakfast was excellent range of things. Best we experienced in Italy. On the whole, we enjoyed ourselves so much, we extended our stay an extra night.

Good central location, close to station and main shopping area. Room 405 was a very spacious corner room, more like a junior suite, and equipped with tea and coffee makers. The staff were all welcoming and helpful.

The property is located within walking distance to the centre and to many restaurants 10/12 minutes walk.Also 3 minutes walk to train/bus station.Room was spacious and cosy. Bathroom is nice too, brand new.Stuff was nice and polite.Initially we book 4 nights then we decided to add one more night because we liked the city and the hotel.Same day the manager send to our room a bottle of champagne and seasonal fruits for free!!! What a nice gesture!

Staff were friendly, and the place is clean, but it's due to a big renovation as it is so outdated! Fridge in the room is great, but these days a kettle, tea and coffee is a must in the room, which none of our rooms had. The rooms need soundproofing too.

Breakfast was good as was the room but the best thing about it was the location. We had a rail trip to se Etna and it was within 100m of the station. It was also close to the historic centre and handy for the tram. Car parking was secure.
